Review: After trying four different blues from different brands this was the only one that worked!!! Its an amazing colour and it sometimes looks violet under certain light. I left it on longer than the recommended time (1hr) and applied it to almost dry hair and it worked really well. My hair is nearly black naturally so I had to bleach it to until it was almost yellow, so bits of my hair were abit orange still so I think thats why it looks abit violet. I have used special effects dye before and I would always recommended it to others. -Rachel-

Review: Lovely colour to start with, was the first unnatural colour I used, but it did lose a lot of its vibrancy as it faded. Only lasted about 2 weeks before turning grey. -Anni-

Review: It was really good!Really bright however after two weeks it faded really quickly and went lialac with green tints which didn't look that bad.Compared to nuclear red it was pretty disappointing and the reveiws were so good so it amy work on your hair and it may not so it just depends unfortunately for me it didn't work well. -Lyd-

Review: I absolutely *love* how this color turns out--it's a vibrant, true cobalt blue. I put it on top of faded Special Effects Blue Velvet (which by then was pretty much purple), and it still turned out this way. It faded rather quickly on me compared to Blue Velvet (only stayed true and vibrant for 7 days), so I was pretty disappointed. After a week, the faded purple remaining from Blue Velvet overtook this shade, almost as if it forced it out of my hair. I also tried this on tabula rasa freshly bleached hair and it still didn't stick well. It's a gorgeous color and I love it, but I wish it lasted longer. -synapticdefection-

Review: It came out a great colour, but unfortunately my hair wasn't bleached evenly i guess, as it faded rather quickly and unevenly. It fades to a nice light purple colour, but is annoying when its almost fading completely out and you have a pinkish tinge to blonde hair! It does however come out easily enough when shampooed a lot. I really like the colour, but have to recommend making sure you follow all the tips to get it to last. -Luke-

Review: IT works well if you have white or light blonde, but with bits of yellow it gets kinda 2toned blue and kinda greeny. -Johnny-

Review: Blue mayhem is hands down the best blue I've ever used (and I've used a lot) this will work over pretty much anything. I've even used it over faded atomic pink thinking I would get purple and I didn't, I got a pure, rich, strong, vibrant blue. It's really fantastic! -Alexandria-

Review: My hair salon did the color for me, unfortunatly they left it in for only 45 minutes and I did notice the difference (plus high quality shampoos take out the dye VERY quickly so I don't recommend getting it done in the salon). All in all the color came out brilliant and took VERY well to the hair, even in 45 minutes the results were stunning! -Amilee-

Review: This has been the best blue I've used so far. It has stayed in for months without fading, and yet when bleached pretty much disappeared so I could use a completely different colour. -LC-

Review: I was using Directions for a while, and it faded really quickly. I switched to Special Effects Blue Mayhem and WOW! Great vibrant colour that lasts for ages! It fades to a paler blue, which also looks really nice, and if you've bleached properly it fades really evenly too! I love it, I've finally got the colour I've been looking for! -sg1psychopath-

Review: Came a lovely colour but didn't seem to last too well. Can't seem to get the right balance of bleaching. On my hair I didn't bleach it enough so it went a bit of a funny colour but lasted, on my OHs hair we bleached it to white and it went a lilacy grey colour after one wash. -Dani-

Review: This dye is the best blue i have used, i wanted my hair blue for so long and i finally got this dye, and it was amazing, iv had it in for about 2 months now and has only needed one touch up on the very top bits. also as it fades it goes a gorgeous purple. amazing dye!!! i am gonna try nuclear red next so il comment on that after iv used it. -Rachel-

Review: This was ace, I used this on faded nuclear red and it gave me brilliant shades of electric blue, purple, pink and red. looked amazing! was going to send a picture in but just came back from very hot climate and its completely faded. any tips on what kind of bleach to use? need to get rid of very dark roots! i want to go REALLY bright this time! -Ailie-

Review: This dye is fantastic! I used it first on blonde hair and it went a really pretty dark blue, then the next time I used it on bleached hair it went neon blue! It really is excellent this stuff! Fab colour!!! :) -Laura-
