Review: This color is GORGEOUS. I used it over my natural dark blonde hair and everybody loves it, especially since I had the tips of my hair bleached, so it goes from a deep, intense auburn, to a dark velvety red. However, when using this product, be careful because it stains EVERYTHING, including my bathtub! i also didnt use enough vaseline on my face, ears, and neck and it stained my skin, but I was able to take it off with some mosturizer I've had. I would also recommend not wearing white for the first few days, because it rubs off a little bit, but it's not anything you cant handle. This is a great product, I'm so glad I chose it! I'm definitely going to use it again, and I've already recommended it to a lot of my friends. -Jenn-

Review: This color was disappointing. I expected it to be a deeper unnatural red like the color swatch - instead, it turned out to be a muddy auburn-burgundy. There were too many coppery and purple-red hues clashing in the dye, in my opinion, for it to work well. I ended up dying over it with other reds. When mixed, it offered great color depth; alone, it's not a flattering color. I wouldn't recommend it unless you were mixing it to town down a brighter red. -Monochrome-

Review: I used this several times, both on bleached and unbleached hair. It seemed to stay red longer on unbleached hair. I remember it faded kind of icky on bleached hair. It bled and stained everything quite a bit, but nothing I couldn't deal with. -Ambivalent-

Review: Blood red is the most incredibly deep sexy red I've ever seen. And when it's fresh it doesn't have so much as a hint of pink about it (unlike other reds I've tried). However I find it does become pinky-red after a few washes. And the first time I used it it went kinda orange. If it just lasted a bit longer it would be my perfect dye!! -Blamethrower-

Review: I used Blood Red consistantly over a period of six months. I found the color to be SO rich and vibrant. Co-workers started calling me "Red Velvet". Over bleached hair, I found the color would last for about 4 weeks. It did get a little lighter with each wash but didn't turn into an icky orange color. I also tried mixing it with special effects Devilish and Cherry Bomb which made for some very unique and cool shades that were neither truely red nor turely pink. I've used quite a few shades from SFX, and I feel this one is one of the best. -Elizabeth-

Review: I used this dye over my natural dark blonde hair, and the colour was beautiful. A really rich, deep red. Unfortunately, it faded pretty quick on my hair. However, this is still a really pretty colour, a light pinky red which looks a little ginger when it catches the light. Despite the fading, it gives the nicest colour out of all the dark red dyes I've tried. -Sarah-

Review: This colour is stunning! So rich and warm - a definite blood colour. I did it over slightly bleached hair, and absolutely would recommend it to anyone trying to get a deep but bright red. It fades a bit, but not nearly as much as some reds I've tried before (Stargazer and Directions). -Susannah-

Review: I dyed my hair this colour about 2 months ago. it goes a wonderfully rich colour when placed over light blonde hair. I also mixed in a little Nuclear Red too..gave it lighter red highlights lol. downside is that my shampoo stripped it out too quickly. -Marie-

Review: I chose this colour from viewing the hair colour gallery. My hair was previously black for years. I bleached it up to mid orange, and applied Blood Red.
I can honestly say it is the best red I have used for staying power. The colour is a vibrant red on application, and fades (on me) to a dark pinky red. I have never had so many compliments about my hair in my life. My hair looks shiny, and healthy, while still remaining beautifully bright. Thanks to all at BU for selling it. :) -Jennifer-

Review: I love this stuff! I just got out of the bathroom from dying it, it looks gorgeous! It dries your hair out though. -Danny-
