Review: I dyed my hair with Pimping Purple myself over the top of hair bleached as white as i could get it. All I can say is WOW. I dyed it in October and had to get a job in February, so i dyed a basic permanent packet black over the top. Well, the black has washed out (my hair eats all hair dyes) but underneath the black there is a beautiful purple shine 4 months on! -Toxin-

Review: Despite being a bit of a bleeder this dye is great, it comes out wonderfully when mixed with atomic pink and is lovely on it's own, i like it with blue velvet stripes myself. Does tend to rub off a littler more than some dyes but nowhere near as much as neuclear red, so that's good. All in all a lovely dye -Elisabeth-

Review: This is a truly beautiful purple and way better than any box dyes I've used. When I applied it, it looked darker than what I was going for but it looked nice. When I washed it out a couple of hours later, I was amazed by the difference. It lightened up a lot and although it's a red-based shade, it came out rather blue on me (however, that may have been the excess dye that remained). After a few weeks, it faded slightly and gave a violet-pink colour. It's been almost three months and it's still pink/orange (with random patches of the purple) so the lasting power is excellent. The only downside was that when I washed the dye out, a had a multitonal effect dispite having a even base colour; other dyes I've tried haven't had this problem unless my hair was a mixture of tones due to bleaching - this was possibly due to a bad batch as someone who had iguana green suffered the same (ended with mixtures of yellow & green). Other than that, it's one of my favourites. -Michelle-

Review: Wonderful dye. I used this over dark red hair and I got a very rich purple result. A true royal purple, looks even better on hair that has been pre-bleached! Long lasting too. -Alexandria-

Review: This surprised me in that it lasted longer than expected. Initially I used it with atomic pink for contrast. Then I topped up with more Pimpin Purple all over. I left it on for 2 hours and it covered everything. I found it to have greater longevity than some brands. A fortnight later and it's not shifted. In the past I've found these kind of dyes die in a week...I'm a frequent washer. Lovely colour..very striking..I'm thinking of putting some black chunks in to tone it down. But yes very pretty. It only lost 1 star because of it's tendency to make other things purple as well...bright colours mean tiny molecules which rub off and wash off easily. -Mugwump71-

Review: OMG this purple is lush. It goes really well with the atomic pink and glows really nicely in the sun. It also fades to a nice pinky colour as it washes out, rather than a murky brown as some have done. -LC-

Review: When first dyed on natural light/medium blonde this was absolutely wonderful its only downfall for me was as it washed out it turned a faded orange/pink which looked a little funny but it looked gorgeous for ages before that. -Jen-

Review: This dye is great! I used it on bleached hair (to an orange-yellow blonde) and it came out a deep, vibrant purple. After a few washes I suppose the excess dye left the hair and it became even more vibrant. I dyed it in the middle of the summer and even after a month, after it had endured sun and sea, and though some parts had faded, most of it was still lovely as a bright pinky-purple, sort of like virgin rose. Great colour and long-lasting! I'd definitely recommend it! -Triada-
