Review: I first put this in my (well-bleached) hair about 6 months ago. Twice now I've had to bleach fairly long roots and dye them, and my hair has remained pink the entire time! It started out a cool fuschia shade and faded to a still very bright pink. I highly recommend this color!! -Sehkmet-

Review: The hair dye itself was brilliant, colour lasted around 2 months and was vibrant for the first month. I left it on for around 3 hours to achieve the best result possible, I also recommend using some heat when developing the colour. After ordering I recieved the colour quickly and with no problems However, I feel that price was high for such a small amount of colour. I have medium/short length hair and one bottle was barely enough. In the future I would like to buy more than one bottle but it is too expensive. Overall though I was very pleased. -Ronnie-

Review: Loved it, my hair dark with prelightened magenta panels done in a salon. Applied Virgin Rose to top up my (expensive) colour job. Applied it all over. Gave a glossy shine all over and the panels a vibrant magenta. Lasts forever too. -Angelic35-

Review: This dye is lovely. I used it for the tips of a friend's hair, which was very slightly lightened to a reddish blonde, and it still went on beautifully. The red tones didn't make it look muddy at all! At first it looks quite magenta, but it fades to a very pretty pink. Like Atomic Pink, it's very hard to remove, though! -Kiski-

Review: I absolutly LOVE this colour. it last the longest by far. i always mix with devilish to get a really vibrant vampire red with pink from the virgin rose when the sun hits it. i get compliments everywhere! even randomers on the bus haha! -Christine-

Review: Fast postage and an amazing product. I didnt bleach my hair and mixed this colour with Atomic Pink. My hair was a faded purple, well med cherry colour and now its brighter than ever! pink shows through well but not as bright as it would of been if I had bleached it but it still looks amazing. Thanks to the staff at Tony Hair who let me bring this dye for them to apply for me. They love the product to.x -Sabrina-

Review: A gorgeous dye. It started quite a purpley-pink at first, but faded slowly and nicely to a beautiful magenta. Only downside was that it stained everything. My phone, pillowcases and even the counters at work are virgin rosed. Stays in your hair for months and was quite a job to get it out again -CirqueMachine-

Review: I'm in love with this color. Freshly dyed, it looks like a jewel toned magenta (when applied to hair bleached to a light blonde), and it fades to a vibrant shade of hot pink. If you leave it long enough without re-dyeing, it will start to look like this pretty neon pink (kinda like Atomic Pink). -Damaris-

Review: I didn't think I woud find a colour that i loved as much as cupcake pink, but i love this colour even more!!! I put virgin rose over the faded cupcake pink and it came out a fantastic pinky purple colour, really rich and extremely vibrant, it has lasted ages and leaves no pinky stains behind on my pillows or clothes, which is a bonus! I always get compliments for this colour, i swear i will never ever use another pink again, this one is awsome! xxx -Vicky-

Review: Really long lasting! Goes in fuschia, then fades to a bright pink that is not quite Atomic Pink, but still bright pinky-purple (more pink than purple). This was the first SFX dye I used, and I got many compliments when I was in New York! People definitely notice this color. Easy color to wear and maintain. -GroveChaos-

Review: My first foray into Special Effects hair colour having only previously used boxed dye off the shelf was a great success. I bleached my hair a couple of times to lift it to an orangey lengths colour with pure white roots then used 1 & 1/2 bottles of Virgin Rose on my long hair (about half way down my back) before wrapping it in cling wrap and leaving for about 2 hours. When washed out it was a beautifully bright pink colour and upon drying it presented as quite purpley under Fluro strip lighting (like you get in kitchens etc), very very pink under normal bulb light and somewhere in between in daylight. After about 6 washes (using very warm water), a couple of blow drys and a couple of crimps it had faded slightly to a more pinky pink, with less of the purple tones in, however this was only noticeable when I touched up my roots with a little from the left over half a bottle, which came out very purpley pink (beautiful). -Cherry-

Review: After I had used Manic Panic's Enchanted Forest hair dye, I decided to try something new. Browsing the internet, I had found Virgin Rose at random. So, I decided to try it. The color was beautiful and vibrant. Even after a week of washing my hair daily, the color was still as vibrant as when I first washed it. After about four weeks, the color had turned into a lighter pink. By far, it's my favorite color and dye line that I have used so far. -Meagan-

Review: Ahh, Special Effects, the BEST brand in unnatural hair colouring. I bleached my hair to a yellow/orange blonde (from having black hair), and my hair just soaked Vigin Rose up! I've washed my hair about 14 times now, been in chlorinated pools, and the colour has lost that purple/red tinge to it, and is now a candy pink. So it lasts well over a month, but the fading part isn't as ugly as some other colours. WARNING: Because the quality is so good, this stuff stains like crazy! -Ivy-

Review: I totally love special effects hair dye. they are vibrant long lasting and I have found that I can mix them with other colours from other makers without problems. I would not use anything else now as I think that these are just the DB's lol.. Fantastic -Susan-

Review: This color is absolutely beautiful. It gracefully fades from a deep magenta to a brighter pink, very similar to Atomic Pink. It has surprising staying power, and lasts for up to 8 or 9 weeks without any upkeep. It's a bit difficult to bleach out, but can easily be dyed over when faded. It works great to bring out color depth in a variety of colors - overall, another great shade from the Special Effects line. -Monochrome-

Review: This is the very first dye I ever used, and it was about 5 years ago, but I still remember how much I loved the color! It is a bright magenta color that looks AMAZING over pre-bleached hair. It fades nicely too (as long as the bleach job was even, or else some uneven tones might occur during fading) and fades to a pink color. It does bleed on to pillow cases and shirt collars, turning them a pinkymagenta color, but it is worth it in my opinion. I loved this color and will some day use it again. -Allison-

Review: This is the 3rd SFX dye i've used. First was cherry bomb, then atomic pink, now virgin rose (won this for writing a review! - thanks Beeunique xx). Fantastic colour (as usual with this brand) on pre bleached hair. Colour seems to last well (4 weeks on & doesn't need re-doing yet). Looks good with my black hair (streaked in at the front). Have had so many comments from people asking where I got it from that if I had a £ for every time i'd be able to give up work (can I work on commision for Beeunique please xx). Would defo recommend SFX colours - you just need to chose the colour for you, & would defo recommend Beeunique, they're a fab company! -Jane-

Review: I've wanted to dye my hair an unnatural colour for at least five years and after stumbling across this site a little while ago, I finally got my chance. I ordered SFX because I've heard a lot of good things about it, and decided this was the colour for me. The colour is so amazing and makes my hair look beautiful in the sun. Plus, unlike most dyes, it didn't dry my hair out at all. It has remained nice and soft. I had to bleach beforehand and although it messed up, the colour still looks great and has given me multi-tonal pinks and purples, which is even better =) I've received so many comments and it has only been two days. I will definitely be buying again in the near future. The only bad thing I can think about this product is that I wake up with a pink neck every morning XD but who cares when you can have awesome hair! -Michelle-

Review: Great colour very bright & vibrant. its a purple/pink colour. easy to apply. the lighter your base colour the brighter the dye will be.the only dowside is its semi-permanent which means it fades & washes out fairly quick. have had lots of comments on my hair & have directed them all to this site, will definately be buying some more to keep it looking good. sonya xxxxxxxx -Sonya-

Review: This colour is lovely if you want the best of pink and purple! On bleached blonde hair it came out a very vibrant light purple to begin with, and after a couple of weeks faded to a lovely magenta pink colour. It's also very long lasting, after a good month or two its still a really rich shade of pink, and not looking to go any time soon! A little tip - make sure if your hair is bleached that it's the same shade all over, else when the dye fades it'll fade unevenly. However, that does tend to create a very lovely highlighted effect. :) -Rachel-

Review: This colour is sooooo gorgeous. I dyed it on dyed blonde hair, it came out a really bright pinky purple, after a few washes its stil as bright and lovely! I've had so many compliments! I highly reccomend it! -India-
